To look at our former principal, Terry McGuire, you'd never
suspect he was thrown out of H.E.B. for fondling the market
manager's melons! As for me, Dennis DuPriest ('70), well,
I lead a quiet life these days as the Public Information Officer
for the Somerset School District.

John Powers ('70) and his wife, Elva Garcia ('70) share
memories and laughs with Starr Lenhart ('70) who, by the
way, is married to classmate, Charlie Sims ('70). The kids
belong to John & Elva.

Yum-yum! The Key Club and Student Council of John Jay
presented us with a delicious cake at the school cafeteria.

OK, the heck with smoking cigars, let's get plastered!
This group of 'designated drivers' said, "Forget it!" and started
putting away the beers, BIG time!! Daniel Harrison ('70),
Maria Galaviz ('70), Willena Thetford ('70),
Mike Cunningham ('70) and his wife, Susan Spang ('72).

Here I am playing 'Master of Ceremonies'.
I had lost 149 pounds for this reunion. Three months later
I suffered a series of strokes. So, I figure to avoid future
strokes I shouldn't any host reunions, anymore, and then
do my best to regain the lost weight!!! Right??

Let me try to identify everyone in this picture. From the left
that's Starr Lenhart ('70), behind her in the back,
John Powers ('70) and Elva Garcia ('70), next to her is
Tony Soria ('70) and in the foreground on the right is
Phyliss Fortenberry ('70) and her husband, Russell Griffith ('70),
who just moved back to Houston after eight years in the
deserts of Saudi Arabia! WHEW!!
